In this 5-week workshop, we will write and discuss poems in a welcoming space.  We will also talk about publication and elements of craft..

Instructor: Michelle Bonczek Evory is the author of the poetry textbook Naming the Unnamable: An Approach to Poetry for New Generations (Open SUNY Textbook Press) and four collections of poetry, including The Ghosts of Lost Animals, winner of the Barry Spacks Poetry Prize and an Independent Publishers Book Award.

Cost: $375

Workshop B

Saturdays @ 1:00-3:00pm EST

May 4, 11, 18, 25

Enrollment limited to six participants.

Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue GENERATIVE POETRY WORKHOP

In this 4-week workshop, we will write a new poem each week using prompts inspired by the old wedding adage of something old, new, borrowed, and blue. Workshops will provide space for enjoyment of and feedback on each other’s poems. We will also talk about publication and elements of craft in a fun, relaxed, spontaneous atmosphere.
