Doutrope has posted their interview with The Poets Billow editors Michelle Bonczek and Robert Evory on their website. Get a behind the scenes look at how we run our poetry competitions, who our favorite writers are, and what our judging process is like.
Interesting info about the difference between reading online and from the printed page. I was aware of the shortened attention span, but the way the eyes jump and the brain digests (or leaves parts undigested) makes me appreciate “hard copy” that much more. It also explains why I have to print out my own work (and other authors’ manuscripts ) when I’m editing.
Great interview — glad to see so many things opening up for you two. Cheers!
Good interview and what seems to be a well wrought system for critical reading. Good suggestions as well.>KB
