It’s National Poetry falling on the sixth month anniversary of the publication of my dark poetry and short story collection, Breathe. Breathe., so I’ve combined activities for both by doing interviews, podcasts, etc. I’ve also have other poets over to my site and featured their poetry, guest articles, and more to come (site below). As well I’m reading a diversified pile of poetry. My daughter and I did some blackout poetry, which was cool. I might write an original piece. I wish it was more than a month. Since I write it, I’m going to start doing more poetry things on my site each month.

I’ve been posting a poem a day on facebook which is fun because I’m going back through over a decade of writing and rereading all of it, then sharing it. Updating my blog with choice poems as well. It’s like getting back to my roots.
I try to write a poem a day. My “gift” to other poets for National Poetry Month is Poet’s Love Song: https://braveandrecklessblog.com/2017/04/01/poets-love-song/

Hi Everybody, I decided to take part in the National Poetry Month and wrote one yesterday. Do check it out at https://lifeateacher@wordpress.com. “Night by the sea”. I am not sure if I can write 30 poems in 30 days but am hoping to.
Cheers, Smitha
Happy National Poetry Month

Hi Poets. I’ve been doing a poem a day at my blog since last September. Going well, and I hope to continue through until a full year (or more) is in the bag. The most recent piece – the first for April – is here: http://wp.me/p7yTr8-32R
Cheers and happy writing.
